When treating light-colored cotton and blended fabrics, paint digital printing can significantly improve its color, color brightness and fastness after pretreatment, thereby achieving better printing effects. Generally speaking, fabrics carry negative charges in aqueous solutions, and most paint inks are prepared using anionic resins (as additives or dispersants), which makes the paint inks also carry negative charges. Therefore, there is a problem in the process of printing ink on fabrics, that is, there is a certain repulsion between the fabric and the ink, which makes the ink easily diffuse and penetrate to the back of the fabric, and finally causes the printed pattern to be unclear and the color is not bright enough.

In order to solve the above problems, cationic paint digital printing pretreatment liquid can be used to pre-treat the fabric. This liquid reacts chemically with the hydroxyl groups on the fiber to form a covalent bond, making the fiber positively charged. Or the fiber can be made positively charged by physical adsorption. In this way, when anionic ink is printed on a fabric with a positive charge, it can quickly react with the ink and fix to the surface of the fabric to obtain clearer and brighter colors.
